MAXIMIZING ENCOUNTERS
While Jesus was traveling to Jerusalem, He passed between Samaria and Galilee. As He entered a village, 10 men with serious skin diseases met Him, they stood at a distance and raised their voices, saying " Jesus, master, have mercy on us!" Luke 17:11-12
There are life challenges that could be so serious like the diseases of those men, that would make us stay far away from people. Situations that have made us lose loved ones, family and friends because we don't want to hear their analysis of our situations.
At times we are so overwhelmed with problems that we can not pray. But one thing is sure, when we call on Jesus to have Mercy on us He surely will! Verse 14 of Luke 1, "when He saw them, He told them, Go and show yourselves to the priests. And while they were going, they were healed."
These 10 men saw an opportunity to encounter divine mercy and rook it. They stood afar, yet their faith stretched towards the master. When He saw this he had mercy on them and healed them.
One out of the 10 knew how to maximize encounters. He knew as soon as his body was restored that what he truly needed was a confirmation from the Lord who had shown them mercy. He wanted to be near the source of his healing first before visiting his family and friends. Jesus will have mercy on us today and heal us from every unpalatable situation. Maximize your encounter with him today. Good morning and the mercy of God locate and bless you today in Jesus Name! Amen!
