Do not deny the Faith

Bible Verse

“Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the father; but he that acknowledge the Son hath the Father also.” 1 John 2:23 KJV

“Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the father either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” 1 John 2:23 NLT

No one who denies the Son has any part with the father, but affirming the Son is an embrace of the father as well.” 1 John 2:23 MSG


TAKE A STAND

1. Have I ever denied Christ by my actions or words? _____________________. 2. What 3 popular ways do people compromise in this area? (a) ________________, (b) __________________, (c) __________________.

We have heard of how some parents deny (disown) their children and vice versa for one reason or another? Or heard of people who deny their faith in the face of Death and Persecution? When we find ourselves in the slightest danger do we throw in the towel and deny Christ to gain acceptance?

Ask yourself today; Have you come to a situation where you have to do something you know is wrong because you needed a favour or a position? Have you cheated, lied, or given bribe to gain admission, job or you had to compromise your faith to be loved or to get married or have children? God’s word calls it denying the faith. When we do such things, we deny the faith and fall short of God’s standard.

Take a stand today, say NO to infant killing (abortion), say No to child abuse, say No to the occult, Say No to all forms of spiritual manipulations. Take a stand against household wickedness and demonic operations in your life, family or children. When you do this you have not denied the Son and thus have embraced the Father. As you take a stand today, I join my faith with yours to declare you a winner over that battle in Jesus Name! Amen

MEDITATION FOR THE WEEK

 

Do you hear people talk against our lord and feel weak to defend the faith?

 Do you sometimes feel God is slow to act or the name of Jesus is too weak today to do miracles?

 Do you at times feel disappointed and even faithless because of what you see around you?

 Do you know that by doing that you are denying the Faith? Stand Firm! 

CONFESSION OF FAITH

Dear God, help me to take a stand for you. Help me to embrace you always irrespective of the challenges I face today and throughout the year. I stand in your presence today for strength in Jesus Name – Amen!


PRAYER POINT FOR THE DAY

1 John 2:22 Pray for the Strength to stand despite all odds.

Heavenly Father I come to your just as I am in the name of Jesus,  I confess all my sins and ask you to be my lord and saviour,  thank you for making me your child, I believe I am now born again in Jesus name,  Amen!

Enemies at the Gates!!!

Where it began ! 2009 I had an encounter with a prince, he was called the "Prince of the Niger" we wrestled and by Gods Divine Mercy I won and I heard a voice say "now you'll face the goddess of the south..." In 2010 The Lord Told me to travel South and I took my bags, wore my grandfather coat that I loved, with my big beard and hair and took my journey South. I arrived my where God had told me about on the 8th of February 2010. Made an entry in my journal. I met with all kinds of hostilities but the one that mattered was my first encounter with the goddess of the south, aka Anansa. She has a lot of names but that's the name I heard in our encounter. She knew I had won against the prince of the Niger and she didn't come to negotiate but came for battle. GOD IS THE LIFTER OF MEN

One sunny September, in 1998 I was high in the spirit and had a solid dream of being in the Nigerian Air Force!  I wanted to be a Chaplin,  and also a fighter jet pilot. Don't ask me why I want to save lives and take lives, it's the delicate balance of life. I had the hight, and I had the connection (a commandant in the NDA at the time was my in-law),  I spoke to my aunt and she gave her approval. Her husband was a governor during the Babangida administration, and served in Benue state (I have so much roots there now, I know why). So, I had good strong hands to lift me.  But God wasn't in this dream and plan.  I was going to be in the Air Force and be a fighter pilot but not for just a country but for the kingdom! I saw correctly but failed to interprete that vision correctly. It caused me pain, so much pain and I still feel the pain till date.
