The Power of The Blessing

I oftentimes wonder what our lives would have been like without Father's speaking over our lives.  What our world would have become if fathers didn't stand in the place of priest and leaders over their house. 

Today I want us to cast our minds back to two major events that changed history forever. The First is the Story of NOAH the drunken father. 

This father just spent 40 years in an ark, the only man his age in the entire world in his time, that must be a very lonely life indeed. No friends, no neighbours,  no elders like himself to chat with, so he took to farming, the interesting thing is he also went into agro-processing and opened a mini brewery and created a strong drink to calm his old nerve. 😎 

His adventure I to the brewery business didn't earn him money💰, it brought him into a compromising situation. 

The story of this Father, farmer and brewer didn't end well, he drank the product of his hard work, got drunk, slept naked in "his tent", was seen naked by his last Son 🙄, wine indeed is a mocker. 

But wine isn't the topic here, Blessing is. Fast fast-forward ➡ third son tells elder brothers, both Brothers took a covering clothe, walked backwards, covered their father. He realized what had happened, called his third son, and spoke something along this line to him... "son,  you saw me naked, now your sons will go into captivity all their lives and they will be dispossessed of their lands." 😔 What a way to bless a child, what a display of fatherhood! There are so many men out there who heap blocks and occasion of falling for their kids by speaking curses over them because of mistakes and youthful excesses. 

What then is a blessing? And who can transmit it? The same person who can transfer a curse...  Yes, Fathers 😁. 

We must learn to transfer blessings to babies right from when they're in the womb, lay hands on the womb,  bless,  protect and preserve the baby. 

When we speak well over people,  objects and events,  we enjoy the best out of them. "I always tell my daughters,  you are favoured and blessed. I tell my church family, promotion and advancement come to you without stress,  I speak to my wife and tell her,  you have been embedded with favour,  blessings flow in your veins and I am blessed to marry you." 

Now that's the blessing,  words that activate the supernatural,  words that engage heaven in human affairs,  words that have the spiritual backup and carries spiritual legislative authority. 

Now watch this second Man,  Isaac,  he has two sons,  one was a stay home kid and the other was a mighty man in the field. 

When he was old and blind,  he called his first Son,  his strength, and told him to go get me savoured meat and I'll bless you when I eat and get satisfied.  

You can't transmit a blessing from a dissatisfied heart. Blessings are products of satisfaction. 

Fast forward ➡ when Isaac transmitted the blessing he did it wholeheartedly because he had eaten what his heart wanted.  

Watch this: the man who got the blessing was lazy,  homely,  kind of always in the kitchen but when the blessing came,  he began to do things he couldn't do before. He could run, see angels, labour, make cows and sheep give birth even without mating with physical animals,  he could see and physically fight with a spiritual being and had the power to withstand spiritual beings. Why? Because of the blessings! 😎

I see the blessings of the Lord that can eliminate struggle and stress. And bring us into the abundance of blessings.
