Who really are we?  The world still calls us Christians,  we are just followers of the way (Jesus Christ). The world still doesn't understand us,  they never did.  They think we're a religion,  they are confused so are some who went out of us,  they say we are the problem,  we know,  we turn the world upside down,  they kill us wherever they see us,  we don't fight back,  because we love even our enemies,  something they cannot relate with.  They compare themselves with us but can't find similarities because we're not like them.  Some of us may be organized,  some kid us may have got a brand that makes us acceptable to the world... But this was not the master's intention we are sheep sent among wolves. I am excited today by the truth of God's word.  Our relevance and true lasting impacts are only possible in Christ,  he isn't part of the equation,  He is the equation, we don't invite him to tag along,  we give him charge and he takes the lead.   Last night, we stayed in the place of prayer. Forty Days fasting and prayers Understanding the mystery of EMPTINESS : I have been finding it very difficult to put pen on paper about this mystery the Lord planted in my Spirit.  I would not take too many lines to do this but I pray I have the liberty to share deep enough to bring about emptiness (hunger and thirst)  in just one person that will read this.  Many of us came with pre-installed ideas,  concepts and patterns of what the church,  Christ, Christians, our husbands,  wife,  kids etc should be like even before we meet them.  We have been taught to have mental pictures and then create what we have mentally drawn into material reality.  I will not be disputing with these methods and this post isn't going to do that. This Door the Lord showed me is gradually becoming less traveled by many,  to some people it's a door to sorrows,  sacrifice,  pain,  shame,  and humility,  all these may be true,  but this door is also the door to glory,  power,  and Kingship. The second door the Lord showed me is the Door of SUBMISSION. I know a lot of us don't like this word at all as it seems  to make us look powerless,  weak,  enslaved, or used. Let me just laugh small 😁.   In God's plan and in his dealings with men,  submission or Humility is the door that opens influence. 🤔 Think about it,  why would James 4:7 tell us that resistance that brings victory over satanic strongholds is only possible when we submit ourselves under the mighty hand of God?  It's simple,  God's ways are past finding....  We look at suission from a wrestling match point of view...  That's so silly,  yet that's all we see.  We view ourselves pinned down in a painful position till we yield to the man ontop...  This isn't the case with God. This may sound funny but everytime I get my alone time with my wife,  I end up having an understanding of the word of God that I never had for years of study.... This is not a call to make every minister rush into marriage and it's also not a doctrine or mystery....  I am just stating an observation I have made as a Man of God and a husband.  I am also bold and proud to say it out.   Now this is what I will briefly share: Our 40days Fasting began today and I asked the Lord to help me point our people to specific doors that they need to walk through in order to  access all he wants for them to enjoy this year.  The First of 40 doors I ask him for is this..  ABIDE!
