Where is Jesus?

Read 1cor. 2:1-1

I will like to bless the LORD who is worthy to be praised; he has given me the right to be called his son. Within the privilege of sonship comes a lot of responsibilities; the responsibility to always place Him first as Father, Lord, Savior, Comforter, Teacher, the pillar of my life, and the center of my existence. Placing him above every other, respect and love the family (the Church). Every other thing comes after this.

Today I see another school of sonship. One that place the doctrine, teachings, and intelligence of man above the knowledge of God; forgetting that true sons cast down everything that will try to raise up it’s imagination against the knowledge of God the father. [II Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;] that’s what I am going to be doing, bringing every thought to obedience in Christ Jesus our Lord, the first born of the father, our friend and brother.

It pains my heart to endure 1-2hrs of man-gratifying sermons everyday in church and on so-called Christian media. Paul said in I Corinthians 2:1, 2, 5 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with Excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

we are quickly drawn to the reality that our ministers have abandoned the gospel of Christ and his cross and become philosophers forgetting what the Bible tells us in Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” They input a worldview to the truth of the gospel making it simplistic, having drawn out manuals filled with their wisdom, they lead many away who are easily enticed by great speeches.

Cast your mind back to Eden, that beautiful garden, that wonderful fellowship with God, that smooth-tongued serpent, that wonderful speech he made and the outcome in our lives today. Genesis 3:1, 4, 5 “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” “Oh! What a mystery” she must have said. Vs. 6 sums it all up “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” These minister postulates that our secularistic and socialistic world needs a socialized Jesus, God, Holy Spirit, and ultimately a secularized, socialistic Holy scriptures to meet our new intelligent, vast, political and sinful ideology. The ideology that says that it is alright to sin as long as you do it to the degree that is acceptable by law; its alright not to believe in God as long as you think that there is an infinite being out there who controls human destinies; its alright to be a pervert as long as you have a political ground for doing so, change your whole nature, curse God, tell God he should have made you a woman instead of a man or a man instead of a woman or he should have made you a man with a breast or woman without breast with a masculine voice, a beast with no conscience, the image the devil, but as long as you get a lawyer’s paper to defend your deformity that society says you are alright.
How should our preachers react to this? Give them the true gospel of Jesus. The gospel as handed down by our fathers. The way it suppose to be! For the scripture says: Romans 1:18- 32“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

Is there a new gospel, a new bible? Why then do our actor-like preachers and motivational pastors quote the words of men, mere men who were in their life time never Christian, hated the gospel and even men who seek to destroy the truth of the word of Christ by bringing divers philosophies and theories that were anti-Christ?

Are the words of these men greater than the words of our lord Jesus Christ? Did they in any of their so-called great speeches say the words they spoke are spirit and life? Did the disciples of Jesus quote from the writings of any great teacher, scholar or philosopher in their day?

Why have our preachers now abandoned the gospel of Christ and preach mortal men? Was Karl max born of virgin birth through prophesy spinning over one thousand years? Did Napoleon Hills Died on the cross to save you? Did Bill Gate feed 4,000 and 5,000 with few loafs and fishes? Did Aristotle say to the woman caught in the act go your sin has been forgiven? The list is endless.
Why do we quote them today? Are they the 21st century prophets? Are the books they wrote the new scriptures we should read? Where is Jesus in all these? These secular teachers make their presentation while our thinking people (the youths) make bogus notes from these ‘guys’ and not knowing what the bible says about anything.

Shocking as it may sound, when we fall into certain situations, yet find ourselves not being able to quote the bible, rather, one of the numerous pollutants we have heard will pop-up in our minds; the words of Aristotle, Darwin, Hitler, Malcolm, etc will supersede the words and teachings of Christ in the matter. When did this doctrine of demons creep into the church without our knowledge? I know, while we slept! Yes! The church is so preoccupied with programs and administration. The bible says: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Matthew 13:25. “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.” Matthew 25:5]. Do you see that? My prayer is that the church will awake from her sleep and flush out this evil that is trying to take a firm root in the church.

Think about this: is not our message Christ and Him crucified? Is not our message the Cross and all it stands for?

The 66 books of the bible, written through over1500 years, only had one central message; Christ, His cross, His suffering, Our Salvation, His Return, Our Glory.

In our local Assemblies, let us stop the mouths of these false teachers, let’s put Jesus Christ as the central focus of our teaching and preaching and let him take the glory in the church. Remember the Lord said in the scriptures in the book of Isaiah 42:8 “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”

If any of the men mentioned here and those not mentioned is God or his Christ, let us keep quoting them in the churches of Christ, from the pulpits. But if they have come into the church of Christ as distraction to the truth of the gospel of Christ, let us kick them out! The word of God is not limited, exhausted or unable to save, heal, deliver, set free or lead us to godly success that we would need to import mere men’s word to complete it.

Think about it!

How many of these men we quote in the church today has ever said to a ranging storm “PEACE BE STILL” or to a sinful man or woman “YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN” or to the dead “ARAISE, COME FORTH” or to a cripple or leprous “BE CLEANSED”. Think and act in the might and Spirit of God.

By what Authority?

I will Like to dedicate this Article to all Children of God who understand the Authority in the name of Jesus, and to all those out there who do not believe in Jesus and his power to save heal and deliver.

The Point:
Luke 20:1-8 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? Or who is he that gave thee this authority? And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, if we shall say, from heaven; he will say, why then believed ye him not? But and if we say, of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. And Jesus said unto them, neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

I am not going to treat this Article as a bible study. But I strongly feel that a verse by verse brush stroke will be necessary to drive my message home.

Verse 1:
And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

It was a normal day with normal people with normal lives. In my mind I hear children running and playing, traders outside the temple trying to make a sale or two from the worshipers that troop in and out of the temple- just like a busy day at work you may say!

Jesus and his Disciples too where there to do what they were commissioned to do: “preach the Gospel and teach the people the ways of the Lord.”

As He taught the people the good news, a mean set of people walked into church not because they want to repent or surrender their will to the will of God but because they felt they have more education than the preacher, they have posts and titles that the preacher do not have.

Pause…
Many times we see pastors intimidated by personalities and individuals because of their achievement and worldly wisdom.
This is what the Word of God says:

[1 Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:]

If the word of God needs intelligent men after the world order to preach then this scripture will be broken [1Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;]. Can you see that? God is no respecter of “big personalities” he makes use of all those who are available and without pride.

These men came to Test Our Lord and prove him a liar. They have a reason, a negative reason to come to that assembly; they came to cause confusion, to stir up trouble and to show themselves as intellectual men, men who are custodians of the laws of God.

Beware of those who only come in to provoke strife among the brethren.

[Matthew 16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.]

[Mark 8:15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.]

Luke 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. ]

Verse 2

And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

If they really wanted to know they would have asked a bit more polite and without prejudice. They came as proud law-makers and elders and demanded Jesus to tell them by what authority He taught the people and performed the signs and wonders He did. What a nerve!

By what Authority…

If you claim to know the scriptures they will say, where did you study? What books about marriage, God, Life, and Christianity have you read? What is your highest educational qualification?

People, at age 12 Jesus was teaching Doctors [Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.]

What was his qualification? [Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?] That was His qualification-His fathers Business!

Note to pastors:

How often have you been derailed from going about your fathers business? How often have you succumb to the mockery and abuse that have plundered you and the insults that have ravaged you? Will you be up and about your fathers business? Will you allow the scorners to take the better part of your kingdom time by telling you that you are unfit for the work of God and as such get away into hiding and/or adulterate your message a bit to ‘world-class’ to become the ‘you’ that they want you to be?

Who is he that gave thee this authority?

Within this question is a true hunger for the truth of God. The only problem of the questions of these men is their lack of genuine quest for the truth.

If they wanted to know God, all they world have done is ask what Philip did [John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.] what sincerity, what need for direction and purpose, what true quest for the truth!

But rather our friends wanted it the other way: you claim to have powers, then tell us, who gave it to you?

My fellow ministers of the gospel, I know that some of us have been asked this question in a variety of ways.

Some will ask, who ordained you a preacher? When where you called? How where you called? Who mentored you? Do you have sponsors in your ministry? How renown is the man that poured the oil of commission upon your head? Etc.

I have been asked a couple of these questions, sadly by ministers of the gospel who should know better. [Psalms 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.] I would rather that an unbeliever ask me that question than you, my fellow servant, who preaches the same gospel as I preach, who was called to the ministry as I was. I pray the Lord will help us-Amen

Verse 3& 4
And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

Aha! That’s the turning point in this question and answer segment folks!
Jesus looked at them and said if you tell me this one thing then I will give you the answers you seek.

He wanted the Jews to tell the truth about John the Baptist.

Pause…
Jacob was a man that so may looked upon as a cheat and no good fellow because he tricked his poor old father into blessing him.

Now look at the following dialog between him and the angel:

[Genesis 32:24, 25, 27 & 28 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.]

Observe this unique scenario:

Jacob was alone, just like he was with His father Isaac.
He wrestled with the angel just like he and Isaac his father went into an argument about his identity.
His name became absolutely necessary as his father Isaac did not believe he was Esau [Genesis 27:24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.]
This time he did not lie about who he really was, he said “I am Jacob”

The Jews and the elders had their chance but they blew it. They could not answer the question about John.

Today I dare you to answer. I dare you to declare your stand [Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.]

Verses 5, 6 & 7
And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

Let me place myself in this brief but very important council of Jews and elder:

“We know that Johns baptism is from God but we dare not say so because of our position and disposition about his calling and election and this Jesus who will rebuke us at any chance he gets. If he was like one of us maybe, just maybe we would have worked with him in his ministry and who knows maybe appoint him as ‘Chief Prophet’…”

An encouragement to ministers
[Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus, Stay within your calling and do the work appointed to you by God, do not attempt to get sold-out of your calling. Jesus will perfect His word in your mouth and his word in you will prevail if you stand in the place of your calling.]
“…the fact is, we will lose face among our brethren and Jesus will be right one more time about our Pride…”

Note:
Pride is a destructive weapon, falsehood is its fuel, when its price is full, doom is sudden and inevitable-be on your guard.

“…If on the other hand we say it is of men, caution has to be taken gentlemen or we will defiantly incur the wrath of these men who believe in the ministry of John. These people will stone us to death. We better play the NO ANSWER game to be free of all guilt.”

So they said “we do not know sir, we cannot say”.

So many times brethren when we are faced with an honest question, we play the politics of words and avoid the question.
Is Jesus Lord? Is Jesus going to return? Are there other ‘ways’ to the Father? How do you know that the Bible has not been corrupted?
These are questions that we hear every day and as Christians we hide our faces and avoid the questions and say “we cannot tell but we know it is there somewhere in the Bible”, “I heard the preacher saying it”, “what has that got to do with the fact that I am a Christian?”

[1peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:]

Verse 8

And Jesus said unto them, neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

What an answer!

People of God I will like you to know that these men were not ignorant of the power and teachings of Christ, but they deny it so as to bring discredit to his work and ministry.
As one of their own said: [John 3:1&2 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.] They knew that He came from God and God was with Him, but they did not like the idea that he was not one of theirs.

But glory to God in the highest who knows the content and intent of the heart of man. He took them by their own craftiness.

At this point, I will like to ask you this question; by what authority did Jesus spoke to the Jews and elders? By man’s authority or God’s

There is only one way to find out the answer to that question; accept Jesus today, believe in him, stay in your calling and you will not only know by what authority but you will know whose Authority it is that Christ used to Perform miracles and teach.

If you will be willing and obedient, you will witness the Authority of Christ in your life.

What is the current price of Christianity!!!

It may sound strange to some of you, but in this world where we live where buying and selling is carried out every single day, we are faced with a complex but unavoidable question, what is the current price of Christianity? How much did it cost God, Christ, His Disciples and me? What price are we paying to preach the word of Christ today?

Let’s pause here a bit shall we?

I was trying to make an online payment yesterday night and this morning, one thing kept repeating itself in my transaction: ‘current price’.

Before the transaction, my shopping cart was reading 0.00 as my initial price and as I kept adding new items in the cart it kept increasing by the price of each item.

How did we get here?

[Deuteronomy 32:15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.]

Can you see that? We grew fat with blessings and abundance; we have technology and industries with a cutting age. We are now so fat that we do not need help (or so we think, because we do!). Our technology can keep us safe, our industries can give us food, we do not need to plough the ground with sweat like our forefathers did- Computers can do it!

With a push of a button, we can go into computerized warfare, plant crops, control certain terminal diseases, tell what the weather will be like, and “play God!”- That is a fools comfort. It’s a pity, we all are in it and can see it.

Back to the meat of the matter...

Let’s find out what the initial price is from the bible… [Gen. 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness….]

Price One: The Image of God.

God knew that we must have dominion over all he has made we must be like him. So he created a representative of himself to handle the affairs in the garden [Genesis. 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.]

Man was made so wonderfully that his image was that of the Lord that made him. Just like Chinese calligraphy; each writer can be identified by his writing because it bears his image. We bear the image of God on/in us. We are his workmanship we bear his mark!

Price Two: The Likeness of God.

This is a very delicate issue so I had to consult a couple of online dictionaries to see what they say:

Ok let’s go on now.
God made us to be a portrait of Him here on earth. To have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the grasses and animals etc (that has seen God), we have to have a direct resemblance with him in appearance, in character, in nature.

God is Holy and he created man in Holiness and without sin to have Dominion over the whole creation. His creation!

What a price! [Ephesians. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.] Hallelujah!

What did we do wrong? Did we nullify the price of God? Is there need to be repurchased?
Here is what the Bible says:

[Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.]

Ok now I can say yes we lost it… the image of God, our resemblance. I dare to say that in God’s nature there is no Death, no sin and no pain. But our eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil brought about a bridge of our original contract with God and our dominion was striped from us by the Devil (that serpent, the deceiver!).

Some folks will say where in the New Testament can you find all these?

[1Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.]

[1Corinthians 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.]

Before the foundation of the earth was laid, God had made preparations for our repurchase in the event we fall (you can call that a holy insurance policy). Hallelujah! God has my redemption in mind. I am a product of his workmanship and he can not let the devil steal me away from him. Glory to God in the highest!

Jesus: the perfect price

[Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;]

[Hebrews 9:13 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.]

Can you see that? The price for my salvation is the blood of the only Son of God Jesus! What glory, what compassion, what honor hath God for us mortals that he paid the ultimate price to bring us life, not only this he also came to make us conform to the image of God the Father something we lost long ago. [Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:]

See? Adam’s nature (the nature of sin) was transferred to his son Seth, and unto all generations after him.

But Christ came with a mission, a mission to reconcile us unto God. To bring us into conformity to the image we lost and the likeness we threw away.

[2Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.]

This mission was not accomplished without the shedding of blood (the blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God).

[1john 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.]

[Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;]

[Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.]

[Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.]

[Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.]

Through his blood he made us conformed to the image of his Son (and Jesus say: I and my Father are one. John 10:30)
If we conform to the image of the Son, we have the Father’s image in us also. [Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.]

That’s it! That’s the New price! The blood of Christ!
But what are we doing about it?

The prophet Isaiah looked at us as sheep gone astray, every one of us going in his own way. When we have got redemption why do we still love the death and sorrow, pain and sickness that Sin has brought to us? One thing that comes with this new price is that it is all encompassing. There is healing [Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.]

His….
Wounds: Took away the record of our transgression
Bruises: took away our iniquity
Punishment: Brought Peace to our Body, soul and spirit
Stripes: Brings Healing to our bodies, soul and spirit.

[Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.] How hard can that be? He gave his life and all he is asking us to do is to preach about his sacrifice of Love to the world?

My appeal

Brothers and sisters in the Lord open your heart and pay the price. Preach the word of God to the world without fear. Tell the whole world that Jesus still saves, heals, and delivers. Let the world know that healing, salvation, and victory over sin and that old serpent (Satan) is possible in the price of the blood of the Son of God- Jesus.

Jesus is Lord! God Bless you.

The Question Mark (?)

Every day, troubles and situations beset us, trials and temptations hunt us, our known world is filled with newer challenges than our fore fathers had ever imagined. Our life is in danger. When we turn left we see people, events and situations that never should have been, same on the right and round about us we see negativity and we are drowning in a swamp with the whole world laughing at us.

Who are this Christians anyway? Where did they come from? How do they breed? They ask these questions like we are some strange being from another planet- funny enough to their uttermost disbelieve: God is Our Father, Our Home is in Heaven our King is Christ! Our message is Christ and HIM crucified!

Why will they not just leave us alone? They will ask, the world had always been a better place before they came-sorry miss, wrong bus! We were here before you did. For your information our Father Built this place called earth [Gen 1:1 In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth]. So we have as much right as you do to occupy it. [Gen. 1:26 And God said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.] That’s what my father told me.

With all this troubles and pain and sorrow, God’s plan was not to have us go through it without his protection, love and care.

[Isa. 45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.]

[Isa. 57:16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.]

[Isa. 57:18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.]

Our Father (GOD) will never let us fail in this world where even the system has failed in its obligation to its people.

We are from a place where the Blood of Christ cleanse us from all our sins and guilt, where men and women no matter how vile they are, get redemption and pardon.

And you will still ask: do you not have your fair share of the world’s troubles? Why then do you not feel God in or around you? Who is to be blamed for all this?

Here is what the scripture teach:
[1cor. 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.]
[Luke 22:46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.]

[Deuteronomy 7:19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.]

I thank God that he is My Father, I Love him because he knows my pain and my sorrows, a times when I get confused and run out of ideas, times when I look around me and my faith drowns in my fear. His love for me overcomes my fear.

The only way for a doctor to really treat a sick man is to run some test on him. Here is our test folks “the new world Christianity!” and people say I was the only one who is crazy! Just wait until I tell you all I’ve seen then you can take me to the madhouse and luck me up.

I look out of my window and I see lots of people going on all directions, for whatever reason I’m sure it is for the common good of the world. Then I stop to think to my self, what is good for the church at this time when the world has had a better part of it?

Here is what I told myself: we hide our faces to the things that are introduced into the church (idolatry, the worship of mammon, the preaching of personalities and dignities, extortion and vainglory) and behave as though it is for the expansion of the gospel… what gospel? Are we talking of the same gospel that Christ preached and handed over to the 12 and on the day of Pentecost 120 men preached the gospel to the whole world where it was handed over to our fathers and our fathers to us? I don’t think so! Because what we have here is a deviant of what was handed down to us by our fathers.

That’s why we have so much adulterations and no one is standing up against it!
Where are the Paul, Timothy and the others who have the commission to talk down the false teachers?

Do we have to run away from them while they take over the work of God from us and do it with deceitfulness? NO SIR! [1 peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.] they will always ask and we should be ready to give answers to them.

Out there is not only where the problem is. There is a lot of problem in here also if you want to know I will tell you.
[James 1:14-16 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.]

We get drawn by what we desires…ever so often you hear preachers tell you that “the desires of your heart shall be granted”, did anyone really stop to ask, “What really are my desires and how do they fit into the plan of God for me?”

If my desires are weighted in a scale, will they be found wanting? Can there really be a good and unselfish desire in my human heart?

You still think I need to be locked away in a mad house?
Are you not guilty of having your way all the time?
Are there no self-sins still living in your heart?

[James 1:21 & 25 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.]

Dearly beloved I encourage you to stand fast even when you do not feel your faith. Hold on when all hope seems lost. Be an evangelist even in a world where all men have forgotten the words of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Share the good news of his death that brings about salvation. Share about his life that brings about truth and life.

Introduction: A Lesson Of Love

What I hear I write, what I write I have learnt, what I have learnt I teach others also.

Life has taught me yet another lesson. A lesson of Love and conflicting personalities.

Today, I have added an atom of learning to the wealth of knowledge I’ve acquired at Agaie.

In an organization where conflicting complexities of moral and word wars have a great role to play in its growth, like cancer, propaganda is spread in every quarter. One is forced to abandon the creed of non-violence.

In a Love story where vengeance and politics based on religion is the plot, violence, intolerance, and hatred abound.

No wonder we are called men; moved emotionally to negotiate even when we are being setup by the ones we love. “God so loved us”…..it has a great lesion.

Firstly, He showed his love first; we most times don’t see the importance or significance of a love shown. I could love someone and never tell that someone until I die! God did not consider his LOVE so precious and us so UNWORTHY of it before he showed it. In fact even while we were yet sinners Christ died- Praise the Lord!

Secondly, HE gave his son.

Ever so often, we profess our Love for someone without matching it up with Action. Action here does not mean we have to perform to prove our love or anything, what I mean is show real concern and care; u can buy a present or gift after all the scripture says “Give it shall be Given unto you…”

We see that even God who gives unconditionally places a condition to Loving him “Who so ever” [John 3:16] it means with this entire “So Loved” [John 3:16], people could still choose not to get involved with him or they could get involved but not committed to Loving Him. Think about it!
